One day this summer of 2011, as I walked out in the streets, I was astonished buy the unusually large amount of people dressed in WW2 Nazi uniforms strolling carelessly around the Albert Street district.
As it turned out, there was a foreign film company shooting scenes for a World War 2 film. The company was shooting scenes all around different parts of Riga, even some bits in Moscow District. As our Daily Bike Tours go through it, we were able to see some of the filming in action.
I was a bit cheeky and decided to take some snaps of the “nazis” and the filming process.
